The original map had a scale of 1 sq = 40'. I'm modifying slightly and bringing it down to 1 sq = 10'. This is a terrible place where the party can be ambushed from any direction. But hey, when you're looking for the Throne of the Gods, I guess you're willing to put up with that.

Awesome!
I'd forgotten about that connection!---will you be elaborating further upon it in this adventure?
It's always been just one massive level, but with a connection to the Night Wolf Inn cellars (see p. 80 of that book) and one to the Underdark.
How many levels in Geir Loe Cyncrul, Anthony? I see what appear to be several sets of intra-level stairs, but nothing that obviously appears to access additional levels.
Allan.
LOL, very nice!
Allan.
After a couple painstaking days, Geir Loe Cyncrul [translated crudely into common speech as the "Dead Halls of the Giant Ancients"] the Cloud Giant sanctum that supposedly houses the legendary Throne of the Gods, has been scanned in and stitched together. See all those small square columns? Those are all about 25'x25'x100' tall. When the players want to go after a legend, you gotta go to work. I'll be changing this module significantly from its original key...though the map is still mostly the same as it was back in the day. It runs more like an outdoor adventure because the party can get ambushed from all directions.
Oh, my scanner doesn't handle 11x17 either. So I have to scan each sheet three times. This map is 18 scans at 600 dpi + paintshop pro.
I began redrawing (and, inevitably, expanding) the second and third level maps of my Castle Greyhawk from BITD, so I feel your pain (and I haven't upgraded my scanner to be able to go back to 11x17 sheet scans yet, so I won't have to worry about stitching them back together except with scotch tape for awhile ;) ).
Scanning them in and stitching them together is going to be fun...
You're quite welcome! :D
Yep! It's 6pi. Thank god you gave me these pads b/c the dungeon is just wretchedly expansive. I'd be doomed w/o them.
You using the 5spi or 6spi grid size, Anthony?---it looks like the 6 but I'm not sure.
Allan.
